I spent a fantastic morning teaching at the Park Centre with my student and her ipad.

We were going over searching on the internet. We looked at the steps needed to actually search for something and then what to do when you had the results.

My student told me that, over Christmas, she had used the internet to search for a restaurant phone number and then phoned the made the booking all by herself. I was so thrilled to hear this and congratulated her on her success.

I wrote some notes for her as we went along, to help her remember what we had gone over when she got home. I made sure that she understood exactly what I had written before she left the Park Centre.

I love teaching sessions like this. I always come home with a feeling of achievement that I have helped someone learn something.

Writing notes for students helps them remember what we have been going over and builds on their self-confidence to achieve new learning. I am looking forward to hearing about more successes from my student at our next teaching session.
