New books and exciting teaching

I was at the Indie Authors World meeting at Waterstones, Sauchiehall St, where Andrew Marsh and Kate Galbally were talking about their books.

Andrew Marsh’s book 'Jack Janson and the Storm Caller' is about a fourteen year old boy who spends a lot of time with his Granny Jean and meets a young giant called Winfred Storm Caller. The description of the story was very interesting. Andrew read out a short passage from the book which had us all wanting to know more.

Kate Galbally talked about her book 'A better organised home in 30 days'. It is full of tips on how to organise lots of areas of your life easily and simply.

I was also at The Language Hub & The Cafe Hub running a creative writing class and spent a great time creating an interesting story. The Language Hub teaches an amazing number of languages and is well worth considering if you want to learn a language.

I also had the great pleasure to be teaching a computer student at The Park Centre. I haven’t had a student for a while and realised today how much I love helping to guide someone in their journey to understanding their device and gaining confidence in using it.  I am really looking forward to the teaching sessions still to come.
