It's a marathon, not a sprint

It's a marathon, not a sprint

It's a marathon, not a sprint

Recently I have had to remember this phrase - 'it's a marathon, not a sprint'.

I am, slowly, working through all the steps to get Book 1 of Serena's Adventures published Every time I think I have something settled something else changes.

This is when I remember what I had to do to get my four other books published. There were lots of little steps which resulted in amazing books in my hand.

I know which pages go into the inside of the book and have visited the library to see in what order the pages go into other children's books. I know what words go on the back cover and have a plan for creating the audio file. I, even, know what I need for the last image in the book.

What I have to do now is check every single detail in the insides of the book.

As long as I do one thing every day, I know I will have a published book in my hand.

The mud beneath my feet is beginning to form into a solid path.
