Lights, camera, action - you're on!
The rehearsals were over. It was time to walk on stage and read my story.
I took a breath and waited for someone to switch on my fairy wings. Then I walked out onto the stage, smiling and waving at the audience.
Ten minutes later I was off stage, my story successfully read to the audience.
I was amazed. I had read one of my stories in a children's show, something I never ever thought I would be doing.
I joined everyone else on stage for the last song and then was waving the audience goodbye. Wow!
The show has been booked for two more performances on 8th May 2026. The first performance is at a nursery and the second in a school.
This is so exciting.
My life is going in some very unexpected directions. I wonder what will happen next?
