What is the first step in your work?
My first step in publishing Book 1 of Serena's Adventures.
Do I have a comma or not? Do I need a capital letter? Do I like the way the words have been changed by the editor?
These are the questions I have been asking myself as I begin to look at all the details in Book 1 of Serena's Adventures.
SerenaTM has been watching me and is fascinated by the amount of time I can spend thinking about a comma or capital letter. She has been asking me why it is so important to focus on these parts of the book.
I explained that the detail makes all the difference between a good book and an excellent book. She looked a little puzzled then began to read the words, in the book, with me.
