The headline on my unopened email was - Award update for The Story Creator.
My heart started to beat faster. This was the email I had been waiting for.
Had I have won?
I took a breath and opened the email.
My eyes scanned the words.
'Congratulations' jumped out at me.
I jumped out of my seat and ran around the room. Happy tears fell from my eyes.
I was the recipient of the award - Most Innovative Young Writers Workshops Provider 2025!
