My writing progress - 'From Sunrise to Sunrise'
I have my new novel at the stage where I can start writing it again. The section I have just finished has required a lot of thought. I needed a clear head and plenty of time to get the emotions just right. Becky is exploring what has happened to her and how she can move forward.
To get this section right I had to know exactly what had happened in the story, before. It is important that the events in the story make sense to the reader and they aren’t left wondering how a particular point in the story resolved itself. I think of this as the ‘continuity’ of my novel, like the continuity in a film.
Now to get to writing!
