Writing workshop - What do think this is?
I ran a workshop with the Campsie Writers’ Group based on a biscuit tray. When turned upside down the tray took on a totally different look. The upside down biscuit tray I used can be seen in the photograph in this blog.
I started by asking the group to write down what they thought from looking at the biscuit tray. Everyone came up with very different ideas.
Next I asked the group to write down their thoughts on a character from the story they were thinking of or the place where the story was set. The group feedback some marvellous thoughts.
Why don’t you try looking at an object from a different angle? You may be surprised by what you see.
