How does your brain work?
I am juggling writing my novel and my horror story at the moment. I have been finding that the detail for the horror story is slow to form into a cohesive idea when my brain is focused on my novel.
I finished writing the latest section of my novel, just under 4,000 words, and gave it to my daughter, she is typing up my words. Space magically appeared for my horror story ideas.
I was sitting down to write out a few details when the flowing idea for the start came to me. I just had to write it there and then. I started at 10pm and didn’t stop until I had emptied my brain.
I am very pleased with what I have written. A nugget of unexpected detail dropped itself into the story which is wonderful. I love this when it happens.
I obviously need to finish writing one complete section of a story at a time. Now to get back to my novel!
