My writing lesson
What have you been learning?
I have been enjoying working on my novel.
The section I am working on has to be carefully worded, to enable the character to convey her feelings about what is happening to her to the reader.
This has meant some rewriting as what I had written didn’t match up to what I was trying to achieve. I knew I had to change something.
I went away and did something else whilst my brain thought about my writing and pinpointed what I needed to change.
I am now happy with what I have written.
The lesson for myself was that the writing doesn’t always come first time and sometimes needs time to sort itself out.
