What do you see when you look around?
Some moments are just lived in an instant. I was walking along when the light shone just right. The photograph in this blog is the result.
I love the way the shadows, created by the strength of the sunlight, accurately show the outlines of the branches of the tree on the road.
The light as it bounces off the leaves of the tree and the leaves of the bushes around the base of the tree provides an excellent focal point in this scene.
The bright patch of sunlight coming through the top branches of the tree draws the eyes up to the height of the tree.
Little details make a big difference. The next time you are looking at something pay attention to the detail, what you notice will enrich your experience.
I always think carefully about the detail when I am writing a story. I want the reader to enjoy what they are reading.
