Story creating fun!
What have you been doing?
I am so excited to tell you that I have been working with the key workers' children in Lenzie Meadow Primary School.
I ran workshops for two age groups, primary 1 - 4 and primary 5-7.
With the younger group I verbally created a story and read one of my stories out of my book,' I Can Create Stories'. I asked the children to draw a picture after I read my story to them. They had amazing imaginations!
I also told a story with two soft toys and asked the children what happened in the story.
With the older group I verbally created a story and took them through the process of getting them to create their own story. The ideas they came up with were wonderful.
I really enjoyed myself. I love running these workshops.
