A fantastic learning experience
We were learning all about how to write dialogue at the Campsie Writers’ Group meeting. I was really looking forward to this as dialogue is something I need to work on.
Graham took us through some writing exercises where we explored the ways we could write effective dialogue, so the reader knows what is going on in the story.
After each exercise we got the opportunity to read out what we had written. Everyone had very different ideas and there was lots of laughter.
I really enjoyed this Writers’ Group meeting and will refer back to the notes Graham gave us in future when I am writing dialogue.
