A happy computing student.

A happy computing student.

I was teaching a student at the Park Centre.

We started with his desktop machine. Through the process of asking him what he wanted to know and looking at the information on the screen I came to an answer for him, which gave him an option to try at home.

He then had various questions about how his phone worked. I asked questions, to find out what he knew already and then guided him so he understood the answers I had for him.

Everybody has a preferred way to learning and this is crucial for me to understand when I am working with someone. The preferred learning style or styles influences how a student thinks and understands information.

I am pleased to say my student went away happy he had the answers to his questions and saying he would ask me to help him again if he had any further questions.

“Claire has recently been helping me with some problems I was having with a new computer and new mobile phone.

Like her previous pupils I was impressed with her depth of knowledge, and the Quiet, Confident Manner she had whilst passing on the workings, and use of computers and phones.”
