Ready, set, go!
I was at an entertaining and informative Campsie Writers’ Group meeting, where Marianne was guiding us through what needs to be considered when writing a 500 words story.
We are running a competition based on Radio 2’s ‘500 words’ writing competition for children.
We worked through three tasks, writing pieces of work and then reading them out, and discovered that everyone has very different writing styles. It is always interesting to hear everyone reading out what they have written.
The deadline for our competition has been set and the theme agreed upon. Now all we have to do is write our stories.
This was another excellent meeting.
