New learning and exciting times ahead!
I spent a really interesting morning at a Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire workshop called 'Capture your target audience's attention'. Laura Sutherland, from Aura PR, led the workshop and took us all through the steps we need to think about in relation to our audience including where they are and what they are interested in.
The most important point I came away with was to ask yourself 'why do you do what you do'. I got lots of very useful information from this workshop which will help me in the future.
I have also been at a Campsie Writers' Group meeting where once again we were choosing from an excellent selection of photos and then writing a description of the photo. I chose a Christmas market scene this time and loved imagining myself in the middle of the market experiencing all the sights and sounds.
As I am going into Clober Primary School and to Milngavie Library I am reading over the stories I will be reading. I want to make sure I know what word comes next and how to read the story so the audience gets the most from the story. I am really looking forward to reading my stories.
