Photo inspiration - New information, new story!
One of the displays in the Riverside Museum sparked my interest. When I read the information relating to the cinema section I read that there had been a Pavilion picture house in Kirkintilloch.
I had no idea that such a building had existed in Kirkintilloch. I immediately began to research the Pavilion picture house and discovered that there was a rich history of cinemas in Kirkintilloch that I never knew existed.
This was fascinating to me. I love learning new facts about places. I then began to think about the ‘500 words’ story that I am writing for the writing competition for the Campsie Writers’ Group. Something clicked. Now I have the outline of my story.
I have learned some very interesting new facts and also have an outline for my story – this is marvellous.
